Noreen Rizvi

As a principal at Third Rock, Noreen focuses on new company formation to discover and develop therapeutics for patients with diseases of high unmet need. Noreen works to integrate the science with the business, and is passionate about building companies with strong strategic vision and goals.

When Noreen first joined Third Rock in 2019, she was part of the founding team of Faze Medicines, where she spent subsequent years on the leadership team as Head of R&D Strategy and Operations. Prior to that, Noreen was a Senior Scientist at Siemens Healthcare, and a postdoctoral fellow at Merck where she focused on approaches to drug RNA with small molecules.

Outside the office, Noreen enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, exploring new parks in Brookline.
