Paul Melone

Paul joined Third Rock in 2023 as senior director of IT. He finds enjoyment in helping those around him, whether it be as simple as replacing a computer mouse or as complex as a transformative firm-wide project. Seeking opportunities to help his colleagues is what keeps him going every day.

Paul previously worked at Infinity Pharmaceuticals for 22 years in a variety of roles. He experienced the company grow from twenty people to 250 and then back down to thirty again, giving him the skills to work nimbly and effectively. He is excited to now be a part of the Third Rock team and share his wealth of knowledge.

Paul’s proudest accomplishment is seeing his three children turn into fine young adults…his wife did an amazing job! It has been a joy for him to see them grow up and go out into the world. When he is not in the office, he is usually turning wrenches on a broken car, or visiting his kids in Texas and upstate New York.
